Floor
Experience the excitement of auctions! It is open and free to everyone.
You register at the desk during the viewing or any time before or during the auction and receive a bidder number. With your bidder number, you can bid on any lot during the sale by simply raising it.
If you are a new customer and residing outside of Switzerland, we may ask you a copy of your ID card and credit card.
Absentee
You don’t want to be disturbed on the day of the auction: you can send or leave us a written bid with your maximum bid in Swiss Francs (excluding Buyer’s Premium). DognyAuction will start at the low estimate price and bid on your behalf up to your highest bid, making every attempt to secure the lot for you at the most competitive price.
It is very easy and you have many ways to send your absentee bid:
- leave an absentee bid at the desk during the preview
- register and create your own client account on our website login. You are ready to leave your absentee bids through your account by using the hammer in the catalogue.
- download our PDF absentee bid form. Complete and sign this form and send it by mail or by fax (+41 21 625 01 66), or scan it and e-mail it.
- leave an absentee bid on your favourite live platform.
Absentee bids must be sent by 4 pm GMT+1 the day before the auction, otherwise the registration of the bid cannot be guaranteed. Registration of the bids is confirmed with a paddle number. Let us know if you did not receive your confirmation. Bids are quoted in Swiss Francs. The bid increment is 10% (see the scale increment).
The bids are registered according to their order of reception. If we receive several written bids for the same lot at the same amount, the lot will be awarded to the first bidder.
Phone
You cannot attend the auction but you would like to bid in person.You may leave a telephone bid, you will be bidding in real-time, as if you were in the auction room. It is important to give us a phone number on which you are directly reachable during the auction. We recommend you to let us a written “safety bid” which can serve as a backup in case you are not reachable during the auction. A telephone bid for a lot with a low estimate price under 550 CHF is considered as a definitive offer at the low estimate price, even if you are not reachable during the auction.

- register and create your own client account on our website login. You are ready to leave your bids with your “myDA” account by using the hammer in the catalogue.
- download our PDF absentee bid form. Complete and sign this form and send it by fax (+41 21 625 01 66) or scan it and email it.
